POCKET SCULPTURE
Museo Marino Marini, Firenze, Italy, 2008
Post Monumenta, Biennale di Carrara, Carrara, Italy, 2010
A small sculpture (which the artist considers as a pocket work) is carved from a piece of pumice stone found on the Peloponnese beach in southern Mainland Greece.
Consani’s work, executed during “a holiday period”, is devoid of the worry of planning and elaboration; the artist clears his mind, goes on vacation.
